A deep purple/ruby color, with aromas of ripe red fruits (cherry and blackberry and raspberry), accented by a hint of graphite, cinnamon and coffee. Very round and soft on the palate with finely crafted tannins.

There is a good depth of flavor here, a wine that’s both firmly structured with hints of coffee as well as red hedgerow fruits. A fine balance with the acidity and tannins gives the wine a chance to age for 3–5 years. - Roger Voss

In this rounded wine, generous black-cherry fruits are balanced by acidity and a light touch of tannins. This perfumed wine is open, packed with fruit and a peppery edge.

Julia Harding, September 2015

Pale cherry red. Intensely fragrant red fruit, singing in the glass. But there’s a touch of savoury spice to anchor it. Smooth, scented, delicious with just the right amount of grip to frame all that lovely fruit. Gentle and persistent.
