Tasting notes

A beautiful blend of Carricante and Minnella, two varieties indigenous to Etna in Sicily. Carricante is the dominant variety in the blend, giving the wine its richness and citrus signature. 60 year old, ungrafted vines are planted at 700 meters above sea level. The wine is fermented and aged in steel tanks to retain the freshness and let the mineralty of the terroir shine through.

October 2018 (Vintage 2015)

A very composed and concentrated white with a slightly flinty, reductive edge. It delivers an almost Chablis-like impression with a bed of stony notes draped in rich lemon, peach and tart mango-like flavors. The texture and depth is impressive, and so is the succulent snap through the finish. A blend of 66% carricante and 34% minnella.
