April 2015A perfumed red berry fruit nose emits soft floral, spice and earth nuances. There is a lovely sense of vibrancy to the delineated medium-bodied flavors that possess a relatively fine mouth feel, all wrapped in a delicious, balanced and lingering finish. This is really quite good as it displays almost no rusticity.

Allen Meadows, April 2016 (Vintage 2014)Here the nose is compositionally similar to that of the Serpentières though it's notably more reserved. There is more evident minerality present on the supple and accessible mid-palate of the delicious medium-bodied flavors that tighten up quickly on the balanced finish. This is not super-dense but I very much like the complexity and sense of harmony.

April 2014In contrast to the expressiveness of the Marconnets, this is reticent to the point of being all but mute save for a background floral nuance. There is a lovely sense of energy to the well-delineated, intense and tautly muscular flavors that terminate in a dusty, austere and moderately rustic backend. This should be capable of delivering up to a decade of development potential.
