Fleurie is often described as the most elegant Cru of Beaujolais certainly it can be refined if not sublime in great vintages such as 2010. Domaine des Nugues has 15 acres in Fleurie from which to craft this delicious red. Delicious best sums up the attack that is juicy and ripped full of minerality and life. Floral, spicy and dripping with bright fruit this is as close to what you want in a Beaujolais as you could hope for. Chicken, grilled meats, even stew would be a fine match. Excellent value.
