50-year-old vines planted on a 60° granitic slope provide the fruit for this wine. It's 30% whole-bunch fermented with indigenous yeasts, then matured for 16 months in oak barrels of two to eight years of age. The wine is full, flowing and generous, very ripe and very long in fruit. It has a good sense of purity and is really concentrated, with a herbal twang on the finish and a saline, refreshing edge. Thirst-quenching and precise if very ripe.
