Initiallly shows more oak and less fruit on the nose than the Block 2. Lightly smoky to add complexity. On the palate, powerful, intense, and driving to a very long finish. A little bit of heat here but the weight of the fruit can take it and the finish is fresh and long. Smart Chardonnay that needs a little more time to mesh.
