N/V

100% Touriga Nacional from a granite vineyard. Winemaker Xito Olazabal decided to bottle this separately because he found it did not fit in with the Vale Meão blend, probably because of the granite influence - too much individuality to work in a blend. Intense, floral dark fruit. With that Earl Gray (bergamot) fragrance. Dark and flowing, the Touriga Nacional scent not OTT and the whole is elegant and fresh. One of the few varietal Touriga Nacionals that is subtle and works. More dark and savoury on the finish, long and fresh. Dark chocolate aftertaste and that floral note again.
