Brilliant ruby. Powerful aromas of cherry compote, cassis, cured tobacco and woodsmoke, complicated by a floral overtone and a hint of cracked pepper. Pliant, spice-accented black and blue fruit flavors are lifted by violet pastille and a subtle licorice nuance. Finishes sweet, gently tannic and very long, leaving smoke and floral notes behind.
