Generous, powerful, muscular.
Known for muscular Burgundys this Bourgogne from Faiveley delivers aromas of spice, botanicals, tangy forest berries, cherry compote woodsmoke and bacon fat. Like the nose, the palate is generous; it is powerful yet silky with textural tannins picking up mid-palate. Wonderfully fresh with expressive fruit and good heft. Favours of coffee, spice trail across the finish. A very complete Bourgogne, standing tall among its peers.

About Wine Scores

What is a wine score and how do wine reviewers (I don’t refer to myself as a wine critic, I review wine, I don't criticize it) decide on that score?
A wine score is a numerical rating wine reviewers give to a wine based on a series of elements. Every wine reviewer (or wine critic) has their own method of getting to a conclusive number even if they use similar guidelines to one another.
