Oldfield Reseve Pinot Noir 2011

- 91 points -

Seductive, supple, impressive.
The premium Oldfield Series label Pinot Noir has seductive aromas of cherries and black raspberry, sarsaparilla, a bouquet of violets and roses with sweet and peppery spices. It has a supple, gorgeous weight with generous flavour and excellent balance. Expect fantastic fruit expression on the palate with hints of spice and tea leaf on the finish.

Pair: Grilled wild salmon, roast beef, slow cooked beef brisket or a caramelized onion and wild mushroom pizza.

About Wine Scores

What is a wine score and how do wine reviewers (I don’t refer to myself as a wine critic, I review wine, I don't criticize it) decide on that score?
A wine score is a numerical rating wine reviewers give to a wine based on a series of elements. Every wine reviewer (or wine critic) has their own method of getting to a conclusive number even if they use similar guidelines to one another.
