Oldfield Reserve Rosé 2015

- 91 points -

Delicious, silky, lively.
Made from Cabernet Franc, Tinhorn Creek's rose was previously labeled Oldfield Series 2Bench Rose. It is consistently delicious, offering tangerine, strawberry, peach stone and hints of cedar and tobacco. It has just a kiss of sweetness, a silky texture, good structure and lively acidity. Flavours of tangy summer berries are woven with a suggestion of charred orange peel.

Pair: Salmon, white meats, Dungeness crab on a croissant, cheese and charcuterie, gourmet pizza... you name it!

About Wine Scores

What is a wine score and how do wine reviewers (I don’t refer to myself as a wine critic, I review wine, I don't criticize it) decide on that score?
A wine score is a numerical rating wine reviewers give to a wine based on a series of elements. Every wine reviewer (or wine critic) has their own method of getting to a conclusive number even if they use similar guidelines to one another.
