Oldfield Reserve Rosé 2017

- 91 points -

Structure, juicy, potent.
What used to be the Oldfield Series rose, is now named Oldfield Reserve rose.
Last year it came with a label redesign.
Salmony-copper in colour it offers aromas of blood orange peel, toasted five-spice and forest berries. It is zingy and powerful, potent and lengthy with juicy fruit buoying deep earthy flavours and charred orange peel. Impressive structure, a rose to stand up to hearty proteins, and good for holiday dinners.
Pair: Salmon, white meats, Dungeness crab on a croissant, turkey dinner, cheese and charcuterie, gourmet pizza... you name it.

About Wine Scores

What is a wine score and how do wine reviewers (I don’t refer to myself as a wine critic, I review wine, I don't criticize it) decide on that score?
A wine score is a numerical rating wine reviewers give to a wine based on a series of elements. Every wine reviewer (or wine critic) has their own method of getting to a conclusive number even if they use similar guidelines to one another.
