Pinot Gris 2017

- 91 points -

Ripe, ambrosial, creamy.
Ambrosial guava, muskmelon, honey and creamed pear aromas are layered with golden apples and citrus blossoms. An echo of the nose, the palate is ripe, bordering on softened fruit; it has a creamy weight that envelopes the palate.
Reviewed in MontecristoMagazine.com summer 2018.

Pair:
Grilled salmon, spicy crab cakes, prawns, baked chicken in a creamy mushroom sauce or seasonal turkey dinners.

About Wine Scores

What is a wine score and how do wine reviewers (I don’t refer to myself as a wine critic, I review wine, I don't criticize it) decide on that score?
A wine score is a numerical rating wine reviewers give to a wine based on a series of elements. Every wine reviewer (or wine critic) has their own method of getting to a conclusive number even if they use similar guidelines to one another.
