Juillet 2015 (Millésime 2008)

Concentrated and supple, this full-bodied red bursts with dark cherry and plum fruit. A well-integrated, tangy acidity showcases the underlying cigar box, cocoa powder, sanguine and dried herb flavors. Hot stone and spice accents weave through the long finish. Drink now through 2020. 900 cases made.

Juillet 2015 (Millésime 2009)

Brooding and rich, this concentrated red has dark cherry ganache, milk chocolate, floral and plum flavors. A mouthcoating texture, with firm but integrated tannins, eases into the tobacco leaf-, tea- and graphite-infused finish.

Octobre 2019 (Millésime 2009)

Impenetrable red in colour. The nose is lush and damsony, with a seductive richness of fruit. Velvety and very concentrated, it nonetheless exhibits vivid acidity and spice. The rather high alcohol gives a peppery finish, and a long bitter-chocolate finish. Perhaps too much of a good thing, but undeniably impressive.

Mai 2022 (Millésime 2006)

In the footsteps of the 2005 vintage, La Tyre 2006 shows an 'al dente' freshness with less ripe grapes but a more charming and bright bouquet of dark berries, blueberry, flowers and cherry aromas. Tense and penetrating, the palate is very fresh, with subtle tannins and a perfectly balanced texture. It’s a stunning wine that should be given 5–8+ years of cellaring before drinking.

Février 2021 (Millésime 2009)

Aromas of spiced black cherries, blueberries, stewed blackcurrants, black tea, cloves and walnuts. It’s full-bodied with firm, chewy tannins. Concentrated and powerful with a solid core of black fruit. Still chewy, as ever, but solid and typical.
