One of the best names in Sant'Angelo in Colle, Talenti is something of a modern traditionalist, using French oak as well as more typical Slavonian casks (botti. Despite its southern origins, this is fresh and clearly defined, with bright, tangy acidity underpinning the red cherry, leather and strawberry notes. A wine that is approachable now, but will age well, too. Drink: 2013-20.
