J Alberto comes from a co-planted block that dates back to 1955. Half the price of Noemía, but it is often not far behind it in terms of quality. Savoury, smooth and ripe, with tannins that creep up on you after a few seconds, it’s a very nuanced blend of 95% Malbec and 5% Merlot.
