DMZ Chardonnay 2018

- 92 points -

The 2018 DMZ Chardonnay comes from several vineyards that are vinified separately and is matured in 80% used oak and 20% stainless steel. It feels composed and pure on the nose, offering walnut and Granny Smith apple notes and developing more almond scents with time in the glass. The palate is poised and taut on the entry, displaying good weight and fine tension. This feels focused and brimming with energy and quite precise on the finish, if just missing a little length on the aftertaste. Excellent.
