Pinot Noir Campbell Ranch 2013

- 93 points -

Anthill's 2013 Pinot Noir Campbell Ranch Vineyard is pungent and bold, with expressive savory aromatics, layered fruit and fabulous overall balance. This is one of the darker, more brooding wines in the range. Crushed flowers, mint, raspberries and pine are laced into the textured, super-expressive finish. Readers will have to give the 2013 a bit of time in bottle for the firm, incisive tannins to soften after which the wine should be absolutely fabulous. There is a lot to look forward to in the Campbell Ranch.
