Oldfield Reserve 2Bench White 2013

- 90 points -

Another divinely fragrant 2Bench White vintage from Tinhorn Creek.
This vintage is a blend of 29% Chardonnay, 31% Sauvignon Blanc, 28% Semillon, 9% Viognier and 3% Muscat. It's a fruit-cup of melon, pears, guava and peach with rose petals, honey, wildflowers and exotic citrus. Expect wonderful concentration and attractive weight on the palate. It's brimming with tropical and orchard fruits, citrus and honey followed by zest and a hint of spice on the finish. Great potency and acidity - a wine for Asian or Latin flavoured dishes, mild seafood curry, chicken and mango salad or grilled tuna.

À propos de Wine Scores

What is a wine score and how do wine reviewers (I don’t refer to myself as a wine critic, I review wine, I don't criticize it) decide on that score?
A wine score is a numerical rating wine reviewers give to a wine based on a series of elements. Every wine reviewer (or wine critic) has their own method of getting to a conclusive number even if they use similar guidelines to one another.
