Product notes

The Danube marks the plain in Loiben and Dürnstein. Gravel, sand and ediments form the basis for Veltliner, which is a juicy, elegant classic.

Tasting notes

Inviting and lively, with stone fruit and fine vegetable aromas; delicate and subtle in texture. Direct, straightforward, and lucious on the palate with an animated and juicy finish.

September 2023 (Vintage 2022)

Bright and fruity gruner showing aromas of pineapples, papayas and peaches. Medium-bodied, juicy and vibrant. Excellent length, too, with citrus zest and nutmeg notes at the end.

January 2022 (Vintage 2021)

This shows complexity, with peach, licorice and smoked sea salt notes upfront, while lentil and dandelion emerge midpalate, all vibrating on a vibrant structure. It's silky in texture with a flamboyant feel and long finish.
