Product notes

The vines have a southeasterly exposure and are planted on slopes that get a great deal of sunshine. A diversity of soils, limestone types and a strict blending of wines from 30 plots showcases the finesse, aromatic complexity and minerality of this wine. This average age of vines is 35 years.

Production notes

Grapes are hand picked. Fermentation in stainless-steel, then aged on lees for 6 months. Racking, fining and light filtering occurs before bottling.

Tasting notes

Expressive, intense and complex nose with boxwood, rhubarb, blackcurrant, kiwi and a light vegetal touch. Bright freshness on the palate; delicate and lively. Well balanced and harmonious, it ends with a clean lingering finish. A marvelous companion for fish dishes, sushi, and shellfish. Also very good with roasted white meats and poultry.

March 2021 (Vintage 2019)

This starts off savory, with sea salt and white asparagus accents, but then ripe notes of persimmon and Mandarin orange take over. A flinty spine is the backbone here, while the acidity gives it structure and precision.

January 2022 (Vintage 2020)

Smooth and ripe, this wine balances yellow fruits with red apples, supplemented by the tangy acidity of a young wine. The edgy aftertaste will soften well.
