Notes about product

This was a perfect year with limited rainfall and minimal heat. These two factors made this vintage have a perfect maturation which in return gave the grapes great balance and structure.

Tasting notes

A crisp vintage that offers a brilliant yet intense tasting. The nose of the wine is paired with red berries, which is then followed by a spicy hint of black pepper and eucalyptus.

October 2018

Vivid and bright aromas of blackberries, blueberries and flowers. Medium to full body, light tannins and a tangy finish. Delicious.

June 2019

Made from nero d’Avola from young vines and vinified entirely in stainless steel, Neré is a fresher, more approachable wine than Maccari’s barrique-aged Saia (also recommended here). It feels dense yet juicy, with plum and blackberry flavors and lively notes of black licorice and spice.

April 2019

Medium ruby color with an earthy nose; flavorful and juicy with racy acidity and crisp berry notes. A hint of earth reappears on the finish.
