Product notes

The Willamette Valley saw a mild summer and an even cooler fall. Harvest time came with the added bonus of a few massive rain events, but the vineyard team was on it! Picking was skillfully timed and the fruit came in at just the right moment.

Production notes

The winemaking team crafted a Chardonnay in the style they’d like to drink themselves. The 2019 Evolution Chardonnay is anything but buttery, decidedly not oak-y and refreshes like summertime sprinklers. This Chardonnay is fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks to keep the wine crisp and bright!

Tasting notes

Dangerously floral and fruit-driven with a crisp finish. Radiant and balanced, this wine is bursting with green apple, citrus zest, ripe green melon and white peaches. Pair with popcorn, fried chicken, salads (green, potato, tuna - you name it!), roasted veggies, grilled shrimp, fish & chips, and chicken curry.

June 2022 (Vintage 2021)

Aromas of candied ginger, wild thyme and peach. Medium-to full-bodied with good length and intensity. A solid core of stone fruit with white-tea spice. Pleasant, powdery tannins at the finish. Drink now.

December 2022 (Vintage 2021)

A tropical paradise of a wine, with aromas of pineapple, coconut and saline reminiscent of a sea breeze. Flavors include more tropical fruit and an icy citrus note that will make you long for a granita. A lithe and lean mouthfeel and elevated acidity make for a refreshing drink.
