Avril 2025 (Millésime 2022)The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Catena Alta reflects Mendoza’s continental character and pure fruit expression. It includes 8% Cabernet Franc from Luján de Cuyo and Uco Valley and is aged for up to 18 months in barrel. Its aging informs but does not overpower its intensely aromatic profile, which has notes of redcurrant, plum and blackberry over a background of ash and soft oak. Dry, plush and just lightly fitted by chalky tannins, the palate seems to vibrate as it stretches into a long, flavorful finish. This is a beautifully crafted wine with a modern touch.
