Product notes

The 2018 vintage was marked by abundant rain that brought welcome relief to the Provençal vegetation that was able to recover after a particularly dry summer in 2017. Combined with high temperatures during the growing season, this humidity resulted in unprecedented levels of mildew in the vines and consequently very low yields. Fortunately the frequent use of essential oils and plant based tisanes, biodynamic practices, and a magnificent autumn, limited the damage and enabled superb grapes.

Production notes

The grapes are hand-picked and sorted in the vineyard. Long, gentle pressing, co-fermentation in small oak foudres. Matured for 6 months in these same foudres.

Tasting notes

Made from old vines of different varieties growing together, with moderate yields, the Boisrenard white is characterized by its beautiful smoothness and notes of salinity. A highly distinguished wine.

November 2019 (Vintage 2018)

Offers a broad, creamy feel, with macadamia nut, piecrust, glazed pear and creamed yellow apple notes, backed by flashes of ginger and brioche on the finish. A lush, seductive wine.
