About this winery

Founded in 1825, Domaine Faiveley is one of Burgundy's greatest domaines. Production notes

A vine grower selected by the winery provides them with musts of outstanding quality which they then vinify in their Nuits-Saint-Georges winery. Vinification lasts for 4 weeks and takes place in French oak barrels (less than a third of which are new oak) in the estate cellars at consistent natural temperature and hygrometry. The wine is aged in barrels for 14 months during which it is stirred regularly in order to keep the lees in contact with the wine. This results in excellent tension and aromatic complexity combined with a smooth and delicate palate.

Tasting notes

A brilliant light yellow colour. The nose has great finesse with mineral and light woody notes. This wine is bold, pure, concentrated and balanced on the palate with remarkable length. An elegant and classy white wine, which distinguishes itself by its long-lasting aromas and flavours. Serve with Fish, Shellfish, Coquilles St Jacques, White meats.
