October 2021 (Vintage 2019)

Very dark in the glass. So much herb and licorice character to the prunes and dates on the nose and palate This is a full-bodied blast of savory and fruity, mediterranean-style syrah character that fills your mouth and stays there for a long while.

June 2022 (Vintage 2019)

The 2019 Syrah Maharis is rich and toasty in the glass, with currants and blackberries, a dusting of balsamic spice and mocha forming its bouquet. This is velvety in texture with cooling acidity to balance its opulently ripe black fruits and sweet inner herbal tones. It leaves a coating of fine tannins, as hints of salted licorice and violet inner florals linger incredibly long. The 2019 Maharis is a big wine to be sure, yet harmonious. That said, it could use a year or two of cellaring to ease its structural heft.
