Tasting notes

Buttery flavours of toasted salt with floral aromas. Medium-bodied with a long finish.

The Brocards make this delicious Grand Cru white with purchased must, but there's not the slightest drop in standard compared to their domaine wines. Reflecting the quality of many Blanchot bottlings in 2018, this has orange zest and sandalwood aromas, hint of beeswax and citrus and sappy, mouth-watering finish.

Surprisingly exotic for a Blanchot, which can be very austere in its youth, the Brocards’
wine is made from purchased grapes. The oak is quite assertive, but there’s plenty of sweet peach and pear fruit for support, underpinned by lip smacking acidity.
