Product notes
The vineyards are situated in a hilly district set in a mountainous region that is cut up by ravines which are up to 100 meters deep. The vines gown on limestone soils in the south-east of the province of Valencia.
Production notes
The grapes are gently pressed and cooled down to 10°C before entering into a 3 day fermentation period at a controlled temperature of 21°C. A short rest in oak barrels brings complexity and warmness.
Tasting notes
A seductive full-bodied wine made of organic Monastrell grapes (also known as Mourvèdre) which is an atypical variety derived from the Spanish Mediterranean Coast. An explosion of dark fruit and floral notes with herbaceous aromas of black pepper. Wonderful wine to have with a BBQ/saucy meator even with fish
