Sokol Blosser is one of the pioneering estates of the Oregon state wine industry. The 2021 Pinot Noir Big Tree Block lifts from the glass with a dusting of autumnal spices, cedar shavings and wild blueberries. This is racy and sleek, with cool-toned red and blue fruits flowing across a core of vibrant acidity. Hints of sour citrus combine with suggestions of dark chocolate and a rosemary resonance as the 2021 finishes long yet only lightly structured.
