Tilia is the Latin name for the Linden tree found throughout Mendoza. In Argentina’s wine country, the tree’s leaves are commonly used by vineyard workers to brew a popular, calming tea. Translated into Spanish, locals refer to Lindens as the “tree of life”. For them, these trees represent a slower, more spiritual side of life. Product notes
Grapes sourced from vineyards in Mendoza's Eastern Valley.
Production notes
Fermented at 25-28ºC for 10 days, followed by a 15 day maceration in stainless steel tanks. Aged 6 months in French and American oak barrels.
Tasting notes
Aromas of dark, stewed fruit and spice. A sweet palate on the front, followed by soft, round tannins with notes of blueberry and basil.
