Production notes

Very steep granitic terraces, thin layer of unstable soil (0,30m). The original rock is gneiss giving siliceous calcareous soil. Altitude 200 to 350 m. South exposure, protected from north and west cold wind.

Tasting notes

Clear and brilliant gold color with a slight emerald glint. A powerful nose bursting with apricot and citrussy aromas. Ripe, broad and intense flavors, unctuous texture but dry and fresh. Unmatchable finesse and delicacy. Long and elegant finish.

December 2022 (Vintage 2020)

Tasted out of bottle, the 2020 Condrieu is a beauty offering textbook Condrieu honeyed flowers, citrus, orange, and chalky minerality as well as medium-bodied richness on the palate. Nicely balanced, ripe, textured, yet also with notable freshness, it's perfect for enjoying over the coming 3-5 years.

March 2023

Round and supple with tropical aromas. Mango, peach and vanilla oak dominate the palate. This wine is opulently attractive and classic in style.
