Vista Flores is a high-altitude appellation within the Uco Valley of Mendoza where Catena has been sourcing malbec since the 1950s. The wine is notably refreshing despite its ripeness which is a distinctive feature of malbec from this elevated, arid region. The gentle maturation in French oak for 12 months has resulted in excellent integration of flavours and a fine tannic presence. Black currant, blackberry, pink peppercorn and violet dominate the palate. Very good length.
