Domaine Bonnet-Huteau is located in the heart of Muscadet Sèvre et Maine, 20 minutes from Nantes and 10 km from Clisson, a small town with an Italianate charm along the river Sèvre Nantaise. This domain owns a medieval house which was the origin of the town La Chapelle-Heulin and has been producing Muscadet for over 150 years. The Bonnet-Huteau family runs their vineyard in order to develop the whole range of flavours of Muscadet Sèvre et Maine.

Reviews for this winery

Vinous

Bonnet-Huteau is an organically certified estate that follows the care for the vines through to the bottle with hand harvesting, whole bunch pressing and indigenous yeast. The result is good purity of fruit through the portfolio. The terroir range - Les Laures Clos Moulin Chartrie and Les Gautronnieres - each come from different soils and typically spend less than a year on lees, leading to very pretty wines with the merest of yeast notes that makes them very attractive.
