Production notes

The grapes for this wine hailed from several vineyard sources around the Willamette Valley, including some estate fruit. The grapes were fermented to dryness at 5.5 g/L, the wine was pressed off the skins, and finally put down for a brief nap in stainless steel with a touch of oak influence.

Tasting notes

This wine is packed with bright red fruit flavours, heaps of jammyness, a dash of cherry pie, and a hint of toasty oak on the finish. A foodies delight, this wine pairs with darn near everything!

Aromas of cherries, berries, fresh flowers, mushrooms and sweet spices. Medium-bodied with plush tannins and fresh acidity. Wonderfully juicy, fresh and transparent.

A classy new label design marks the continuing evolution of Evolution Pinot Noir. Fruit driven, loosely knit and full of ripe, juicy blackberry flavors, this affordable and accessible wine is a nice mix of estate and purchased Willamette Valley grapes. It's the sort of all-purpose, no frills Pinot Noir that's tough to find at this price. Nothing fancy, totally honest and thoroughly drinkable.
