VINCENT PARIS

Cornas Granit 60 Vieilles Vignes 2018

- 95 points -

It has a nice balance between ripe fruit and some earthier, herbal scents. Very ripe, pure, concentrated. This has more class than most this year, it's well balanced, even if really very ripe and vibrant. Tannins are robust, ripe, plentiful, fruit-derived, finer than most. Long finish. 50-year-old vines on very steep slopes, 70% destemmed. No pigeage, natural yeasts. Wine spends 16 months in two to eight-year-old barrels.
