The Legacy 2015

- 91 points -

The 2015 blend is a complete departure from last year’s cabernet franc dominated blend. The ‘15 mix is 36/29/19/14/2 cabernet sauvignon, merlot, malbec, cabernet franc and petit verdot. It’s slightly tighter with less texture and more linear notes, but it’s still satisfying in the mouth. The tannins are well managed. The entry is a mix of rich, dark, black and blue fruits that coat the palate along with a dollop of soft French oak. More Napa than Bordeaux which should be attractive to a large crowd of red wine lovers - drink or hold mid-term.
