DOMAINE SANTA DUC

Côtes du Rhône Le Serre du Rieu 2021

- 93 points -

Striking nose of red apple and summer flowers. Very fresh and lively for a Southern Rhone white. Only medium-bodied with a crisp and juicy personality, and a seriously refreshing finish. A vineyard with sandy soil in Roaix, planted with 90% clairette and 10% bourboulenc. Whole bunch pressed, then matured in a combination of Stockinger demi-muid oak casks and clay amphora. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification.
