J Alberto is a field blend of Malbec with 5% Merlot, all sourced from a vineyard planted in Mainqué in 1955. Continuing the move away from oak, this is aged in concrete eggs, stainless steel and older wood. Silky and subtle, with fine red berry fruit, a herbal undertone and a twist of white pepper.
