Southern Right is a specialist producer of Pinotage and Sauvignon Blanc based in the cool Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. Founded in 1994 by Anthony Hamilton Russell, the estate takes its name from the rare Southern Right whales that are sometimes sighted in nearby Walker Bay. With each bottle sold, the winery contributes to whale conservation and the protection of endangered indigenous vegetation.
