DOMAINE DE BEAURENARD - Châteauneuf-du-Pape Boisrenard - 2022

DOMAINE DE BEAURENARD

Châteauneuf-du-Pape Boisrenard 2022

- 95 points -

Dark in colour. A powerful, tense style, with damson and sloe flavours, tight tannins and good acidity; a touch hard, so needs time, but will be good. Lacks the elegance of the 2023, but will be complex and a strong, muscular style of Boisrenard. Will be good, but you must wait. Boisrenard is an old-vine cuvée grown across a mix of different soils and aged in foudre and concrete. The grape blend changes each year depending on the plots, but is typically 70%-80% Grenache and always contains all the permitted varieties of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
