BODEGA NOEMÍA

Malbec Noemia 2019

- 99 points -

Right up there with the best-ever releases of this remarkable wine, the 2019 Noemía is a stunner from Hans Vinding Diers. Using fruit from a 1.5-hectare planted in 1932, it’s a Malbec that tips its hat to Pinot Noir in terms of structure. Fermented with 25% whole bunches for extra complexity, it’s subtle, savoury and effortlessly complex, with engaging minerality, fine-grained tannins and layers of plum, bramble and red berry fruit.
