The 2024 Monk is the first vintage produced from a new vineyard source with shallower topsoils, contributing to a more sculpted, lithe expression compared to previous iterations, which were fleshier and more texturally generous. A striking bouquet of potpourri, clove, dried sage and crushed slate introduces a sleek, racy mouthfeel that, despite its lifted, floating nature, retains depth and presence that transcend its weight class. The finish seamlessly combines floating richness with vibrant acidity and the pleasantly earthy qualities that run through the roster.
