'Bricco Voghera' Barolo Riserva 2014

- 94 points -

At 10 years, this Barolo is starting to settle down and reveal its potential. Cherry, raspberry, plum, earth and eucalyptus aromas and flavors ride a solid base of tannins and vivid acidity. Balanced and long, with earth, iron and tobacco notes lingering. Nonetheless, this is still a bit awkward initially, opening nicely with about a half hour of aeration, so decant now or age for a few more years.
