Celebrating Trialto's 25th Anniversary - Sokol Blosser Library Offer
We continue to celebrate our 25th Anniversary with a collection of wines from Sokol Blosser. Founded by Bill Blosser and Susan Sokol Blosser in 1971, today the estate has passed to a 2nd generation of winegrowers led by Alex Sokol Blosser. Sokol Blosser is a true pioneer of the Oregon wine industry and a remarkable representation of the wines of People, Place and Time.
We are proud to share two world-class, single vineyard Pinot Noirs from the 2017 vintage. This vintage is noted as a classic in the Willamette Valley and for Sokol Blosser in the Dundee Hills, it produced wines with beautiful structure, balance, and aging potential.
We encourage you to take advantage of this impeccable parcel of wines and to celebrate our 25th year with us.

Peach Tree Block
Named after what used to be planted here: peach trees. In its place today are more than 2 acres of Pommard and 777 Pinot Noir clones that produce what Alex says is “a wild, almost unfocused pinot noir, with its power of fruit and flavour going in multiple directions.”

Goosepen Block
If there’s ever a grand cru site in the Sokol Blosser estate, this is it. Every year, this 4-acre block produces some of the most compelling Pinot Noir – amazing fruit, firm grippy tannins and plenty of acidity.
It’s called Goosepen after a failed experiment that Susan and Bill tried in the mid-1980s. Rather than spend their time mowing, they decided to fence the vineyard and invest in geese to eat the grass. The geese never dispersed to eat the grass, however. Although the Goosepen Block is named after a failed experiment, the wine from this site always delivers.
