Just in time for the warmer weather, now available in Alberta is Tilia Chardonnay. With some oak influence (3 months in French barrels), this is a solid substitute for California Chardonnay.

Golden yellow color with greenish hues. A delicious nose of white flowers and tropical fruit (pineapple, banana, and peach), laced with complex, refreshing mineral hints. Fresh and intense mouthfeel with sweet tropical fruit and peach, complemented by crème brûlée and toasted bread flavors. The finish is long and lingering, with crisp, balanced acidity and a subtle mineral undertone.

About TILIA

TILIA

Tilia is the Latin name for the Linden tree found throughout Mendoza. In Argentina’s wine country, the tree’s leaves are commonly used by vineyard workers to brew a popular, calming tea. Translated into Spanish, locals refer to Lindens as the “tree of life”. For them, these trees represent a slower, more spiritual side of life.
