Terry Theise on Laetitia Billiot
"But I admire this smart, resolute woman, and her Champagnes keep getting better, returning to the style we loved in the first place. These things take time in Champagne, not to mention when you do everything essentially alone. You’ll find them robust and energetic, rather like the lady herself."

Antonio Galloni, November 20
The NV Brut Rosé is a knock-out. A Champagne of notable intensity, Billiot's Rosé possesses tremendous richness and power. Sweet red berry fruit, kirsch, rose petal and mind infuse this deeply-colored Rosé with tons of flavor. This is an especially heady, vinous style built on serious texture, with Pinot Noir very much front and center. Disgorged: May 6, 2019.

Wine Spectator, November 2020
A lush, creamy style enlivened by a spine of mouthwatering acidity, this offers a finely knit range of fresh bread dough, crème de cassis, star anise and candied ginger flavors. The finish is clean-cut and lingering, echoing a rich tang of salted almond.

Vinous, November 2020
The NV Brut Cuvée Laetitia is terrific, especially in the way it balances energy with the richness of Ambonnay. The addition of reserve wines back to 1983 adds considerable nuance and complexity. Lemon oil, white flowers, mint, crushed rocks and a whole range of Chardonnay inflections add brightness to a core of Pinot fruit. The are some rough edges, but also enough personality to look past them. This is a fabulous edition of the Laetitia.
