Jean-Marc Brocard's Chablis 1er & Grand Cru

Thank you for your patience as we waited for most of these wines to arrive back in market. We are thrilled to offer a broad collection of 1er Cru and Grand Cru wines from Jean- Marc Brocard. The collection spans the 2018 through 2020 vintages, and in most cases this will be our only shipment of the individual vineyard sites in their respective vintages.

White gold colour with green reflection. Nose: hints of citrus, grapefruit and anise. The mouth is salt, chopped, dense, lemony and refreshing with a nice length.

A slight yeasty, lactic funk plays on this wine's otherwise fresh, lemony and vivacious nose. The palate adds lots of juicy fruit, think ripe, red-cheeked Mirabelle tinged with zesty, limey greenness. Concentrated and bold, the body reveals depth underneath all this fruit, harboring coolness and verve. It's a compelling wine

About JEAN-MARC BROCARD

Jean-Marc Brocard's origins lie in the Côte d'Or, the son of a farmer from the village of Chaudenay-le-Château. It was an accident of marriage that brought him to wine, he married a vigneron's daughter. Jean-Marc planted his first vines in 1973 in the village of Préhy, the birth year of his son and now vineyard manager, Julien. Jean-Marc says "The truth of wine lies in the soil where it has grown."
