James Suckling, July 2022

Very attractive sour-cherry and wild-blackberry nose, Quite crisp for this ripe vintage, but that gives it a lot of vitality and the leafy freshness accentuates this.

Wilfed Wong of Wine.com, February 2021

The 2018 Joseph Faiveley Bourgogne Chardonnay is classic, rewarding, and nicely balanced. This wine offers aromas and flavors of dried leaves, earth, ripe apple, and dried bark. Serve it with rotisserie chicken and wild mushrooms.

A brilliant pale yellow color, with attractive aromas of white and yellow fruits complemented with hints of light woody notes. On the palate, this wine meets the expectations of its aromas; it has a round and full attack before the vanilla and toasty notes reveal themselves, lending to a long-lasting sensation. The finish is slightly acidic.

Wine Spectator, May 2021

There is a fine purity to the black cherry, blackberry and spice flavors in this supple red. It's harmony and finesse makes it approachable now, yet there is ample structure to develop over the short term. Fruit and spice accents extend the finish

About FAIVELEY

FAIVELEY

Founded in 1825, Domaine Faiveley is one of Burgundy's greatest domaines. Originally the company was a classic negotiant business, but after seven generations of steadily acquiring properties the Faiveley family have established themselves as the most important vineyard owners in Burgundy, with 120 hectares of painstakingly selected small plots (typically not larger than 1 hectare in size) spread across the region.
