Trialto in partnership with Marquis Wine Cellar and Blue Water Cafe is very pleased to invite you to a Domaine Faiveley winemaker’s dinner on Tuesday, March 5th.

Jérôme Flous, the Head Winemaker, for the iconic Domaine Faiveley from Burgundy will be in attendance at this dinner and will guide guests through a tasting of wines that have been paired with a specially created menu.

Jérôme joined Domaine Faiveley as Head Winemaker in 2007 and has worked at Château Guiraud and Château Smith Haut Lafitte. He is the right-hand man of Erwan Faiveley and supervises the whole technical field of the estate. He strives for quality and excellence, from cultivating the vines through until bottling every single one of the domaine’s wines.

The selection of wines will focus heavily on the new release 2021 vintage but a few wines from other vintages will be showcased as well, including a side by side comparison of the 2014 and 2021 Corton Clos des Cortons Grand Cru.

There is a limited number of tickets available for this incredible event and they are bound to sell out quickly, so do not delay in buying your ticket(s) if you wish to attend. All event details are below and we hope you can join us for this very special dinner.

James Suckling, August 2023

Take the trouble to investigate the depths of this very impressive 2021 Grand Cru Burgundy, the aroma spectrum of which stretched from redcurrant to violet, from wet earth and savory to wild blackberry. Impressive power that’s beautifully integrated on the rich palate. Bright and beautifully crafted at the very long finish.

About FAIVELEY

FAIVELEY

Founded in 1825, Domaine Faiveley is one of Burgundy's greatest domaines. Originally the company was a classic negotiant business, but after seven generations of steadily acquiring properties the Faiveley family have established themselves as the most important vineyard owners in Burgundy, with 125 hectares of painstakingly selected small plots (typically not larger than 1 hectare in size) spread across the region.
